One of the best educational institutions in India, the Delhi University is soon going to conduct the DU-BMS entrance exam. This entrance test along with some others will offer some great undergraduate courses.
For students from Humanities/Arts stream currently busy solving mock exam papers, there are exciting options to choose from journalism to tourism.
So, if you are planning to give the upcoming DU BMS exam consider these other options as well depending for arts stream at the Delhi University:
Bachelor of Fine Arts
The creative field of fine arts offers wide range of choices. It includes painting, drawing, applied arts, sculpting, visual communication, photography, music, etc.
Students can get admission in DU’s College of Art for BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) Course. The applicants must pass with 50% or more marks in Class 12 (or equivalent)
Business Economics through DU BMS/DU JAT
For those whose interest lies in economics, DU’S BA (Honours) in Business Economics can be an interesting choice.
The admission is done on the basis of Delhi University Joint Admission Test (DU JAT) performance. And, applicants must have at least 60% marks in Class 12.
By opting for DU BMS entrance exam, students can gain corporate exposure, read economic theory to analyze business enterprises and grow intellectually.
Journalism
A three-year program, DU’s BA (Hons.) in Journalism is always in high demand. The job-oriented course deals with print, electronic, and online news media and entertainment media.
Applicants need at least 45% in Class 12. The admission is on the basis of cut-off release by Delhi University.
Tourism

The University of Delhi’s BA in Tourism Management is different than say, a DU BMS, since this is a vocational course of three years.
Although there is no such need to study or look for free practice tests for an entrance exam. The admission is done via merit and 40% marks in class 12.

Finally, a very interesting option for students after 12 can be BA in Delhi University’s Apparel Design and Construction Program
There is no need to practice mock exam papers, or any other examination. Admission is on the basis of cut-offs.
The course teaches students to develop awareness about garment designing and apparel construction. It also teaches new and innovative design methods. And, serves as a doorway for careers in the garment industry.
