The procedure to gain entry into one of the most reputed universities of India begins from tomorrow. The Entrance exams for DU Admissions 2018 will begin.
The DU Admissions 2018, like each year will be an elaborate process for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Here’s all you need to know before getting into the registration process for DU Admissions 2018:
Entrance Based or Merit Based
For DU Admissions 2018, 90 different colleges with nearly 54,000 seats will be conducting entrance tests. These will be for UG and PG programmes.
For some courses, the Delhi University admission will be on the basis of entrance exam, while for others, there is no need for them. However, admission in MBBS/BDS courses will be done through NEET online test
Registrations
Candidates for UG and PG programs may need mock exam papers for entrance-based admissions. However, merit-based courses require no such need. Following are the important registration dates:
Open Sessions Days
You can take advantage of the University’s Open Session days. Here it gives info about registration, admission process, mock exam tips, etc.
From May 21, 2018 to May 29, 2018, DU will hold these sessions at the Conference Centre in the North Campus. This will be between 10 am – 11:30 pm. And, between 12 noon to 1:30 pm, except on Sundays.

Exam Centres for DU Admissions 2018
Delhi University will be conducting its entrance exams in five cities. These are; Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata, Varanasi, Nagpur, and Chennai.
Practice mock test apps, mock exam books, previous year papers and mock exam papers online are resourceful in preparing for the test.
Information for Foreign Students
The DU Admissions 2018 will offer over 250 programmes in various levels of Arts, Commerce, and Social Sciences.
Foreign students do not have to give any entrance test to these courses. The University has already started applications from foreign nationals earlier in February 2018.
